Backing Rod Grey

• Backing Rod is a medium density, firm, foam
• 10mm size is Closed Cell , all otherr sizes are Open Cell
• Supplied in cut 1 metre lengths in a bag. 
• Very flexible.
• Withstands many chemicals.
• Material: Polyethelyne (CFC free)

Applications

• Used for plugging expansion joints as a non-adhesive backfill in all construction joints
• Ensures correct joint dimensions for sealants
• Eliminates 3 point adhesion.

• Note that each diameter (width) of backing rod is available in specific lengths as noted below.
• 10mm: Length: 250 metres ( Closed Cell ) 
• 15mm: Length: 250 metres ( Open Cell ) 
• 20mm: Length: 200 metres ( Open Cell ) 
• 25mm: Length: 100 metres ( Open Cell ) 
• 30mm: Length: 100 metres ( Open Cell ) 
• 40mm: Length: 50 metres ( Open Cell ) 
• 50mm: Length: 50 metres ( Open Cell )
